Terms of use

The rules for using this website and the LocalLead BC waitlist. Last updated October 21, 2026.

Pre-launch notice: LocalLead BC is not selling anything yet. No subscriptions, payments or checkout are available on this site. Pricing shown is planned and may change. Subscription terms will be published and agreed to separately before any paid service starts.

1. About these terms

By using this website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't commit you or us to anything. You can leave at any time by unsubscribing or through our contact form. We may limit early access or founding pricing, or offer it in stages.

3. Information only

The content on this site, including the sample digest, is general information. Sample leads are fictional and for illustration only. Future digests will summarize public data “as is”. A permit or weather alert doesn't guarantee a roofing job, and source data can be incomplete, late or wrong.

4. Lawful outreach

If you use our materials or (after launch) our digests, you're responsible for contacting people lawfully. In particular:

  • Don't send commercial emails or text messages to homeowners or anyone else without the consent CASL requires. LocalLead BC provides templates for letters, door hangers and in-person visits only.
  • Follow the National Do Not Call List rules if you make phone calls.
  • Respect people's privacy and any “no soliciting” requests.

5. Open data and attribution

Digests include public-sector information used under open government licences. The required attributions are listed on our data sources & attribution page and must be kept when the information is shared. Nothing in our service implies that any government endorses LocalLead BC. You may not resell or redistribute digests in bulk.

6. Acceptable use of this website

Don't try to disrupt the site, send spam through our forms or submit other people's personal information.

7. Intellectual property

The site's design, text and templates belong to LocalLead BC, except for public-sector information owned by its publishers. You may adapt the sample outreach templates for your own business.

8. No warranty and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, LocalLead BC isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or the sample materials.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new date here. Questions can be sent through our contact form.
